Greetings!  I’m feeling a little shabby and chic.  I used Prima packing cardboard for the frame and border.  Also, a bit of burlap, dies, Special Delivery Stamp, brad and some beautiful GCD Studio’s designer paper.  Mom crocheted the little pink flower and leaf Smile

and I'm a Featured Crafter today!  Hop on over to Krafter's Paradise for another peek of some of my Circus creations :)  Sandy invited me and it's always such an honor to be featured.

Farm Fresh Brown Eggs: Altered Style

Now seriously!  Have you ever altered a hard boiled egg?  LOL!  I was boiling eggs the other day and thought…these natural beauties should be altered and decorated.  I gathered up some May Arts Ribbon, Creative Charms and my Crafty Secrets Artsy Banner set and got to work.  The Glue Glider Pro works perfectly for adding ribbon and lace.  Hot glue was used for the brads.  I misted a couple of the eggs with Glimmer Mist to add a little more color to my basket of eggs. They really are so much fun and I like how they turned out.  What do you think?  If you make some altered eggs, let me know cause I’d love to take a peek!

I made two St. Patrick’s Day cards for you!

Cardstock, numbers and designer paper are Momenta, Jewels are Creative Charms, Die is Tim Holtz and the March stamp is Crafty Secrets.
The second card I made using Momenta as well.  The dimensional 4-leaf clover is made using Heartfelt Creations Flora Stamp. Glue Arts, Glue Glider Pro!

A Little Shabby and Little Chic

Joanne is the hostess over for the Crafty Secrets Group  at Splitcoast Stampers.  Our challenge this week is to use wings or things with wings.

Products used:
May Arts Ribbon
Crafty Secrets Image and Stamps
Tim Holtz Birdcage Die
Creative Charms Brads
Jillibean Soup cardstock
Moss
Old hymnal

Dimensional Flower

I hope you’ll try this fun technique.  Vicki Chrisman posted a door hanger, using this technique, on the Fancy Pants blog yesterday.  I just had to give it a try.  She made a shamrock by cutting shapes.  To make it my own, I used Heartfelt Creations Flora Stamp and cut out the petals in two petal sections.  Layer two of the heart shaped petals and sew through the center.  Cardstock is Momenta.  Center bling is Creative Charms.

Good morning and I hope you’ll have a beautiful day filled with crafty goodness!  Today is our tax appointment so I’ve been busy gathering all the info we’ll need.  I’m looking forward to getting back to creating..sometimes life just has a way of getting in to my crafty time.  LOL!
The embellishments on my card are Creative Charms and the sentiment and dies are Heartfelt Creations.

LeCirque Carousel

Come one, Come all!  This is going to come as a great surprise..I used Graphic 45 papers again!  LOL...I really just can't help myself!  I'm sharing a LeCirque Carousel that's made by altering a vintage tin. All papers are Graphic 45 and the Creative Charms products I used are GB-407 (Gradient Brads), VP-7322-R7 (Craft Embellishments), VP-8209 (Vintage Brads), V2-7523-Red and Black Velvet Poppy). The four smaller carousel tops are 3" circles that have been folded in half 4 times. The main carousel top is 10.5". The little toppers are made using the Creative Charms products listed above. The tin is complete with circus peanuts!  Be sure to stop in tomorrow for "THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH"!
